    • Creating and modifying forms and lists to optimize user experience
  • Tables and Fields:
    • Understanding ServiceNow’s table schema, creating custom tables, maintaining data integrity
  • Application Scoping:
    • Introduction to scoped applications for modular, secure development
Weeks 4–5: Core ITSM Applications
  • Incident Management:
    Lifecycle, configuration, SLAs, priority matrix, and business rules
  • Problem Management:
    Root cause analysis, problem detection and documentation, workflow configuration
  • Change Management:
    Change types (Standard, Normal, Emergency), approval workflows, CAB meetings
  • Service Catalog and Request Management:
    Designing and managing service catalogs, request items, variables, workflows
  • Knowledge Management:
    Structuring KB articles, approval publishing workflows, version control
Week 6: JavaScript Fundamentals for ServiceNow
  • Core JavaScript Concepts:
    Variables, functions, control structures, data types, arrays, and objects
  • JavaScript in ServiceNow:
    Context-specific usage of JavaScript in ServiceNow (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, etc.)

      Import Sets, Transform Maps, Exporting data for reporting

  • Introduction to CMDB:
    Importance, CI classes, discovery tools overview
  • Managing CIs & Relationships:
    Creating and linking configuration items, dependency views
  • IT Asset Lifecycle Management:
    Procurement, allocation, audits, compliance, and disposal best practices

  • User & Role Management:
    Configuring users, groups, roles, and ACLs

    Cloning, patching, and upgrading ServiceNow instances
